I-TAP-PD is an international training pragram with duos of teachers and artists. Specifically, teachers and artists who want to form a partnership to create a project for education. I-TAP-PD stands for International Teacher Artist Partnership Professional Development. I-TAP-PD believes that teachers and artists in class really contributes to the creative capacity in education.

Artists and teachers often speak a different language and look at developments from a different perspective. They also have a different approach in the classroom. This training makes aware of the indifferences and helps to turn them into a strengths.

Even though artists in class isn’t something new, we don’t often see artists and teachers develop a creative project together. This is exactly what I-TAP-DP does!

Four organisations from Europe are working together on this project. The training program is developed by an international team. Founding Kopa is a partner from Utrecht, the Netherlands. further participate:

• The Education Centre Tralee from Tralee in Ireland
• Panellinio Diktio Gia to Theatro Stin Ekpedefsi from Athene in Griekenland
• Center for Drama in Education and Art CEDEUM from Belgrade in Serbia
• PAEDAGOGISCHE HOCHSCHULE NIEDERÖSTERREICH from Baden in Austria.
